19. Strategically, this is much better
Impeachment is not our best strategy, for at least two huge reasons.

1. Instead of empowering We The People, calling for impeachment still leaves us groveling at the feet of Congress to do the right thing, even when they've shown repeatedly they cannot be trusted or expected to do so.

2. Impeachment would require Bush, and likely Cheney and others, to stand trial before the Senate. That means they would be subjecting themselves to the rule of law. Is there precedent for this? Hardly. They will never allow themselves to be put on trial for their lives, which is what an impeachment trial would amount to given they have violated the War Crimes Act which carries the death penalty.

If we want major sweeping change the People are going to have rise up and reclaim the power that is rightfully ours. Rallying around elections is the most fundamentally obvious place to begin. But calling for election reform is insufficient.

Peaceful revolution is necessary, NOW!
