Saw him on C-Span at a campaign stop. Brown said that Rove is famous for putting out negative ads on a Friday - it gives him 3 days of uncontested ad runs because the person being attacked can't buy any rebuttal time until Monday.
These terra stories are the same thing: get it out there on Friday so it's the final talk at the water cooler, let the masses talk it up over the weekend while the weekend talk shows reinforce the lie. Then, do a poll on Monday showing the country is supporting * on terra!!
