He could do something few other candidates we have could do, which is carry
several southern red states. Which would put us back in the White House.

Of course, considerations like that just don't seem to matter all that much to
the ideological purity kamikaze squad.

You know, the kinds of people who didn't vote for Al Gore in 2000 because
they claimed to believe that he was no different than George W. Bush...
