It's a local crime story. Thats it. We have 300 million people in the US I'm sure there is a horrific sensationalist story about one person every day. If I don't personally know the family I really don't care.
I heard there are some wars going on overseas and some social problems here at home plus an upcoming election. Maybe the news channels should cover the actual news. (I hate Faux news as much as the next guy but is it me or do those docs on MS NBC seem to belong more on Maury Povich or some digital cable Pedophilia channel)
