Of course, what happens in the long term is yet to be played out. But it is a good time to be a new graduate. Sorry to bear news that isn't necessarily consistent with our preference for bad things happening, but I work in higher ed and have seen this turn around over the past few years.
That is not to be taken as a statement on the overall economy or whether current economic/business climate is fair/friendly/equitable. Just stated a factoid from Oklahoma.
