As much as I appreciated and was surprised by Miles O'Brien's interview this morning of Tom Ridge he failed to include one very important piece of information about FISA warrants.
Wiretaps can be initiated and THEN a warrant is filed with the FISA court within 72 hours.
The arguments put forth by Mr.Ridge about technological advances and not wanting to wait for the warrant are completely misplaced in this discussion.
Please make sure that this point is made in the future and I have to ask-why hasn't it been in the past?
