This is the simple reality that the DC/Euphemedia Analstocracy can pretend doesn't exist by not saying/hearing the actual words.
This is literally how it works. They pretend it's not a crime, it's (just a little game of) "power grab." Just "overreaching." Anything but the pure truth that must be acted upon.
Force them to hear it and minds will change. They really will.
