17. think about it. "Fool me twice, shame on me"
they were fooled and feel ashamed about it, and since most of the die-hard freeper types I know would rather choke to death than admit they were wrong about anything, they will choke down every lie and shit sandwich they're fed and smile and pretend to like it because they don't want the self-perceived shame of being wrong.

Personally, I can admit when I mess up, to myself and to others. It helps me learn. The hard core types - you know, the ones who would vote for a corpse before they'd vote for a "Demoncrat" - will refuse to admit they were lied to.

Add to this the large number of people who watch FOX and/or listen to Rush and those people are still not aware they've been lied to, so maybe it's a combination of problems.

I've actually had some tell me that Bush is doing better than ever and that they are proud of him, and they were serious about it. They literally do not understand why I don't like him, and turn it around and say that I don't because of George Soros (or whomever they feel like naming from the Kennedy/Clinton/Al Franken list). Even when I have a long and detailed list of why I dislike them starting from Reagan/Iran-Contra/October Surprise to the current day, they say I just hate Bush for no reason.
