Will is usually a hack, but that was some pretty good writing, dryly sarcastic. Stability has indeed been "solved."

I was listening to As It Happens from the CBC last night, and unlike our tame media, they had a Hezbollah spokesman on, giving his side of things. They were tough, but fair, just as they were the other night with an Israeli spokesman.

Although it was difficult to understand everything he said (his English was good, but accented and he was on a cell phone), his main point is that Hezbollah didn't start the war, didn't shoot any missiles until two days after the initial Israeli attack, and that they will get billions from Arab states to rebuild the damaged areas.

Underneath it all, though, was a very clear "we won, we kicked ass, and we are going to be a HUGE organization in the near future." Imagine this little "terrorist" group with BILLIONS in the bank...
