53. i would relate "air assult" to something Poppy used to...
...say or shout during tennis games when he was behind: "It's time to unleash Chang"...which possibly derives from the long-held fantasy of RW anti-communists of giving Gen. Chang Kai-Shiek the okay to invade mainland China from Taiwan and defeat the Red Army. I suspect "air assult" is for Junior what "unleash Chang" was for Poppy...a childish code-word to suck it up/tough it out/get serious about winning or doing something...yes, as Gore Vidal recently said about Junior (with delicious understatement): "I really believe there's something wrong with that man."
