17. I don't think they put it quite that way
and I don't recall them blaming the audience. This article more points out how fucking stupid bringing partisan BS is causing the stations to shoot themselves in the foot. If the stations(s) did not even allow tickets to be sold, they lost whatever promotional value they could have gotten as well as any share of the gate they might have recieved. They also may have had contractual obligations they failed if the venue decides to go after them.
