I think that going to the new comments format they did a few months back (maybe it was longer than that and my memory sucks lol) is one of the worst decisions Salon has ever made. It seems like 75% of all comments are from someone saying "this is the worst story ever, Salon is crap now, I'm not going to renew my subscription!" :eyes:

I think Salon still publishes a lot of interesting material, and as a freelance writer, they're still one of the very few online publications that "counts" as a credible clip of where you've been published.
