Son, look out our window and let's pretend every house is a different country. And every house has a tree. One has an apple tree, one has a cherry tree, another has a pear tree, one has an oak and so forth....

....but we don't have a tree, Son, and let's pretend that we're very, very hungry. We ask our neighbors if they will give us some of their fruit. They say no. We offer to give them money but they still refuse to give us some fruit....

....we call the police and tell them that we are very, very hungry and our neighbors won't give us any fruit. The police say, 'Sorry, we can't do anything about that'....

....now Son, that makes us very angry and we're getting even more hungry....so, what do you do Son, now that your father, mother, brother and sister are nearly dead from hunger?

'Call the police, again?'

....they won't come, they won't help....

'maybe ask Mr. Jones, your best friend next door?'

....no Son, he doesn't have any fruit trees....

....quickly Son, what are you going to do before we all starve to death?....

'Steal the apples, pears, cherries and bring them home to eat?'

....Atta boy Son, that's right, we steal the fruit....taking what's not ours is ok if we really, really need it and God says it's ok....and that's why we kill people and fight in Iraq, Son....to steal what we really, really, need....
