but I doubt if personal chargers would be sufficient considering the space they would require as well as the inconsistent timing of sunlight. We would need a major breakthrough in solar panel technology, for starters...

Still, I think that we should get as much of our energy from the renewable sources as possible, and the quicker we reduce our fossil fuel dependency the better...
