It just didn't come off with the innocently ribbing vibe. It sounded resentful. But you are right, it is a bit premature for me to judge their personal ways of dealing with each other. :)
I just couldn't imagine putting in a thread title that my wife is a dumb ass. I would find it completely disrespectful and hurtful towards her and in bad taste to do so. But I do recognize that others may have different relationships and can say such things with innocent playful intent. When that's the case, it is fine of course. When it's done with bitter intention, then I do find it to be verbal abuse and don't condone it. Thanks for the civil and thoughtful response. It's all good. :hi:
