2. The IDF officers are right -they were held back - Olmert has chose
a path of both internal Israeli political risk, but also one of trusting Hez to keep its word.

He will get zero credit for that choice (the choice being to accept the UN resolution that is to be passed today) - at least not on DU. And history has a few thousand leaders that trusted the word of aggressive, terrorist organizations promising if only you do this we will stop - only to see their people screwed.

But I think he has chosen the right path - and not just for humanitarian reasons.
