8. Oh, it probably is unintended.
This little corporate empire thing is too expensive to fight grand wars against people who are actually equipped and trained like a modern military. Hence the fight against feudal states like Afghanistan and preweakened states like Iraq. The only problem is that these foreigners keep trying to build alliances and create an effective defense of their resources.

Bush is not as religious as he makes himself out to be. He always scoffed at the religious people when he was down here in Texas, although they are fairly ridiculous around here. He tells them what they want to hear, and governs any way he pleases. The nutcases don't care; they may not even be capable of caring.

The con-men who run the republican party aren't trying to bring on Armageddon, they are just trying to bilk the planet out of an enormous fortune. They just can't help screwing it up so badly, blame God.
