9. I was talking about the primary, not the general election.
The republicans are probably celebrating the split within our party. It makes it easier for them when our vote is diluted between two candidates.

From what I heard after the primary, their vote may be diluted between the Republican and Joe.
If KKKarl has called to offer help, watch out for the dirty tricks. I guess the orders will be sent out along with the talking points on who the Republicans should support in this race.

I did read on another post, after I posted on this one, that the Connecticut Republicans would have had to switch affiliation months ago, so maybe they weren't that much of an influence in this race. We don't register by party in Virginia, we get to vote in either primary and we can vote in both primaries if they aren't held on the same day.

I agree with Skinner that Joe shows no loyalty to his party, so his party shouldn't show any loyalty to Joe. This is the man we ELECTED to the office of VP in 2000! This is the same man who should have been inaugurated a heartbeat away from the presidency. What he has done in this election reflects how he split from us in the Senate.

Now that this high visibility primary is over, our guy Jim Webb needs help against incumbant jerk George Felix Allen, jr.
