no longer wish to be represented by him. Obviously. At least the Democrats don't...and it's a Democratic appointment.

Senator Lieberman is no longer a democrat. Not only because he lost his primary, but, more importantly, because he has withdrawn himself from the Democratic party. Committee appointments are partisan. They are not a right, they don't belong to the people of Connecticut. Since Lieberman is no longer a Democrat, he no longer deserves the appointments. Period.
