28. I say absolutely yes to suggestions 2-4
Personally, I would only do 1 IF Lieberman gets elected as an independent. As it stands, he's still a Democratic Senator; he is certainly not a Democratic Senatorial Candidate, however, and no one should pretend he is out of some kind of loyalty to Lieberman. It was a primary election, where party DOES matter, and Joe lost. Like he did in 2000, he's trying to have it both ways and we Democrats really shouldn't let him try to trick Connecticut's voters into thinking that he's some kind of "Independent Democrat." If Democrats like the Big Dog or anyone else continue to campaign for Lieberman over the actual Dem nominee, they're only aiding a selfish egomaniac's desperate attempt to hang onto his seat. If Lieberman had any humility at all, or any true loyalty to his party, he would accept that he lost fair and square and retire after his term is up in January. It's so funny that when it came to an election he DIDN'T truly lose, he did not seem so eager to fight to the bitter end ...
