I will be working on Tasini's campaign. He'd understand why I have no money to give him. He was on my picket line fighting for my job when I got fired for union activity. I am actually risking going to jail for 15 days in his honor. He and I and 58 other people were arrested for fighting for union rights. The prosecutors office singled out Tasini, my union president, a priest, the head of the AAUP (American Association of University Professors), and one or two others for a 15 day jail term while the rest of us got off. I, along, with about 45 others said that if you're going to punish one of us, you should punish all of us. So now we are all facing 15 days in jail for civil disobedience and they are going to have to face the decision to drop the charges or put us all in jail.

The best I can do is drag every lazy gen-x no-votin' progressive that I know to the polls.
