We're all a little raw - and it shouldn't be this way among friends. Personally I appreciate both Rugger's effort and Pitt's insight and apology; it unjangles things without us hiding and whispering in the back of the closet in GLBT, and without being accused of quasi-stalkery for bringing it up at all.

That's what friends and subthreads are for.
