The political landscape in America is so split that the Jewish vote could change entire election and could change the balance of power in congress either way.

Chavez, even with his oil, has no power in the United States. If Chavez cuts off his oil, we simply buy more from the Saudis. The price may be more, but it won't do anything to the economy.
