that I find particularly disturbing.

1. She makes BushCo look moderate. I don't really see conservatives distancing themselves from her. Or denouncing her for that matter. Oh, a couple called her on the remarks she made about the 9/11 widows but for the most part, they are conspicuously silent.

2. She validates hatred. Given her very public persona and the amount of frequency she is on TV spewing her crap, that brand of hatred is becoming even more popular. Most sane people fight against their inner demons, they try to be kind, thoughtful considerate and resist their impulses to hate and be bigoted. Ann makes those feeling ok.

And for those two reasons alone, I find her dangerous.
