If I were gonna leave DU

I would just leave.

I wouldn't feel it necessary to espouse my reasoning.

Why is it necessary to do this. I think it only creates more division and people should not be allowed to do it.

Now I can sympathize and understand why one would want to leave. I have been pissed and let down on many occasions. But if one is at this point what does it matter if they have their last word.

When I read these posts I never post in them because it feels like giving a false sense of sympathy. "Please don't go", "We need you", etc.

I wouldn't need to hear those words if I were leaving and I wouldn't find it necessary to give a reason, because I believe the two are at odds with one another. If you really want to leave, then just leave.

Now this post is not directed at one poster or another, but brought on by the increase of these types of posts lately.

Just go if you want to, please don't try to manipulate the board by saying you have to leave because it so "unfair".

It's a god damn message board for christ sakes!
