3 years ago. It's really lovely here, the weather is great, the people are friendly. Lots to do, and I can't get over how green it is! Having said that... I am starting to miss the unique California-ness of where I lived... Grew up in Pasadena (love it without the heat, though), and moved to the beaches as soon as I was out of high school. Lived in the coast for years and years, moving progressively north until I stopped in San Luis Obispo County. There is a certain vibe that California has, that you can't really capture elsewhere. Just as the Pacific Northwest has its own vibe, Florida, South Carolina, Texas, etc. Sometimes it's the nuances...
