I called her up to sing "Happy Birthday" to her--I'm a vocalist :blush:--and she asked me what I've been doing today.

"Followin' the news," I said casually. When I asked her what was going on, I told her an "alternative news source" was reporting that Karl Rove has been indicted. :) Hey, at least it will cause a little cognitive dissonance until she hears the "Karl is innocent" talking points. Probably she's already heard them, so this may not have fazed her. :shrug: I do hope she has a happy birthday, but I also wish she would let something into her brain besides Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al. It ain't never gonna happen though. :(
