How much more am I supposed to sacrifice?
(This post prompted by this article....http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060429/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_27) I have already endured 14 months of my child crying for her father EVERY DAY. I have already cried thousands of tears. I'm already on Xanax. I work full time while taking care of a child by myself just so we have enough to cover our bills. My husband's salary is not enough. I haven't had a complete night's sleep in over a year. I still don't know if my soldier will make it home. There are so many more just like me. And he's asking for more? How much more? How much more?  edited to add missing word |
