My brand spankin' new response to "the other side"

For many years I have been frustrating myself by trying to debate issues with republicans, conservatives and the like. I have learned that they do not regard facts as important, get most of their information from cutsie emails, try to yell over top of your voice when you are speaking and typically don't separate issues. They lump all the issues together and follow whatever people like hannity, rush and anne says.

No matter how much you show them facts, they never understand them and go right back to what they were told to think. This is becoming very frustrating and I feel like I am wasting my time with these people so I have come up with a new response whenever they spew their bullshit.

My response from now on will be... "So?"

Whenever I get one of those ridiculous emails telling me that Al Gore told Oliver North in 1925 that Bin Ladin was a great man, Cindy Sheehan gave up her first 20 children in 6 other divorces, George Bush's IQ is 250 but he dims it down to try to be like "one of the guys" or Bill Clinton's penis blah blah blah, instead of deleting them right off as I usually do I am going to respond to all with "So?".

When some idiot gets in my face spouting bullshit like killing sperm is killing God, all of the founding fathers were born again republican Christians and wanted to name the United States "Jesusland" or "we couldn't have evolved from monkeys because not *everybody* likes bananas, instead of confusing them with facts I am just going to respond with "So?".

I figure it will go something like this:

Them: "Hitlery really ran the country because Bill was getting blow jobs"

Me: "So?"

Them: "Well, I am more of a patriot because I drive a yellow car shaped like a bow!"

Me: "So?"

Them: "Yeah.. well george bush is the best president we ever had because he wears a cowboy hat"

Me: "So?"

Them; "You are an asshole!"

Me: "So?"

Them: "It's no use in trying to make you think like me and I hate you and all other liberal scum!"

Me: "So?"

I'm guessing this should make my life a lot easier. I will use my votes, letters, phone calls and other means to make my voice heard. I encourage you to do the same. What's the point in talking to any of them about politics? They have their heads up their ass and will never open their minds enough to learn the truth.

If I piss some friends or family off or make new enemies because of this, all I have to say is... So?
