5. It Goes Way Deeper Than That
Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 08:43 AM by Crisco
It's not just the horror story of law-and-order authoritarianism, it's how specialized everything is becoming.

Our schools, from magnet grade schools right up to specialized colleges offering specialized degrees. Our corporate employers welcome new recruits with specialized educations and training and yet, if you look at the educations of the CEOs and the boards of directors, you'll find *their* educations are far more broad in scope.

Our agriculture industry, intent on wiping out small independent farmers.

Our medical system.

Everything.

Specialized economies have brought profound changes to our nation and it's only going to get worse.
