Bill Kristol has yet another screed posted at the Weekly Standard equating anything less than 1000% enthusiastic support for Israel's war on Lebanon and Joe Lieberman's Senate candidacy as the modern-day equivalent of the blood libel.

Marty Peretz (a.k.a. Mr. Singer Sewing Machine) makes a somewhat similiar point in a Wall Street Journal op-ed today, although Peretz gets by with heavy-handed innuendo where Kristol feels compelled (as always) to unleash his personal brand of "identity politics" in full strength.

It's gotten to the point that when I hear this crap all I can think of is Ali G's moronic catchphrase whenever one of his "interview" subjects gets fed up with his nonsense and tells him to get the hell out of his/her office:

"Is it 'cos I is black?"
