I failed to get a good photo of the entire thing. I sat on the floor for a bit and admired it. The entire church was so beautiful and peaceful. I was at one time a candidate for ordination in the Methodist Church and studied at ANTS (Andover Newton Theological School) I am so saddened that we as a society cannot delight in the story of Jesus without making it a tool to repress and abuse people. But the negative of the church, it seems, is quickly consuming the positive. This church, Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, was open to the LGBT community and is one that still celebrates the goodness.
