Last week my wife and I took her son over to the Hilton hotel to show him the pool, which is up on the 8th floor and offers a nice view of downtown Austin. The clouds had been really nice all day so I took my little Canon G9 with me.
We got up there and the sky looked like this:  I told them, "I bet the sky will look really cool once the sun goes down." Little did I know just how amazing it would get. A few minutes later:  Then the sky looked like it caught on fire.   That lasted only for about 2 minutes. Then the fire started to fade and turn to purple.   |
