However, with the May 2000 conjunction squared by Uranus, the path forward during the next 15 years will take some unpredictable twists and turns, with heart pounding plunges down steep embankments and exhilarating climbs to mountainous vistas with unsurpassable beauty. We are all in this together; and to go from a Taurus Grand Conjunction to an Aquarian one requires humanity to loosen its grip on personal greed and selfishness, and profit driven motives, and to embrace the concept of the Brotherhood of Man. What is not good for everybody is not good for anybody.

From La Volasfera, translated by Sepharial, for Taurus 23 we have:

A king sits upon a throne; behind him stands a figure veiled in black.

It signifies one who will suffer misfortune in the height of his career and whose fall will be dangerous in proportion to the height he has attained. The native will be too apt to depend on his own powers and will essay feats which will be beyond his natural powers. Ambition will lead him into dangerous positions, and at a weak moment he will fall. Let this be taken as equally affecting his physical, moral, and social welfare. It is a degree of COLLAPSE.

In this symbolism for the degree of the last Grand Conjunction we clearly see George W. Bush. But who is the figure veiled in black? Is it Osama bin Laden? Is it Karl Rove? Is it Dick Cheney? This correspondent does not know.

It may be just The Reaper, Saturn, standing behind the throne. Now approaching Mr Bush's Ascendant for the first time in 30 years, and with Tecumseh's Curse hanging over his head like the Sword of Damocles, we may lose this man later this year, but the path he has put America on will define our foreign policy for the next century.
