and I am also into learning to do it yourself :) That is mainly what I teach...how to do it and how to understand how your spiritual gifts work so you can do it yourself.
That is also why I have never charged for aura scans or healing or cleaning energy fields or smudging or cleaning negative energy out of a place as Spiritual things should not be sold....
However when I teach a class on how people can learn to do it themselves..I do accept donations or do barters...because usually I am paying for the room, supplying the herbal tea selections, the napkins, some of the food (we usually do a potluck supper first) as well as the decorations I supply and my time is also worth something as well.
However it is based on people's ability and if they think they got something valuable..and not on a set fee. I find that people usually seem to donate around a ten dollar bill more or less...and thats alright with me too....its all good.
