Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Part II

Today was a long day. Waiting, watching, knowing...

We called the police, both 911 and non-emergency dispatch. Nothing. We called Animal Control..."tomorrow, maybe" we were told.

Groovy, thanks.

On this property, 17 pitbulls, all in various states of abuse. I walked amongst them, my heart crying out...take them all. But sadly that's not what we were ready for...we had no idea. Take the pictures, you fat bastard. Get the documentation!

Then, then we came upon this girl...

It all went out the window then. She'd not live through the night, especially if the "owner" showed up...

We called the cops. Nothing. We called animal control. Nothing. No...as usual, if you want justice, it's just us.

This is her rotting jaw...

So, we took her. She was carried to the fence, and handed off to me, to be placed in the back of the car and run to the vet.

Running, carrying 40 pounds isn't the highest recommendation. Just keep the hatch open, k?

So now, the cops are involved, AG is involved, FOX fucking news is involved...and btw...

I'm involved.

This is her skinny ass (she has hearworm, btw...just found out)

She was left for dead amongst the living profitmakers. I find that unacceptable.

I also find it incredible, once again, that this pitbull is completely unable to hold a grudge...

Yes, that's me, flvegan, roughly 45 minutes after her liberation, at the vet clinic, with her. Scary, huh? I do believe that I probably got the first kisses she's ever given away.

And tomorrow morning, when law enforcement moves in...nothing short of punishment.

Punishment.
