question on multivitamins/multimineral supplements
Advertisements [?]
Ok, so I take a standard men's multivitamin/multimineral - switched from a general mv/mm when I learned my iron count was high, so I didn't get any iron in my supplement.

Now, it looks like I need to add calcium, as I have to be on a low-protein diet - which is not conducive to getting enough calcium. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get some extra niacin, as well, as I've got low HDL.

So, the question is...is it possible to get a multivitamin that has no iron and extra calcium? (extra being beyond the 20% DVA/200 mg or so in a standard mv/mm), and maybe some extra niacin?

I even looked at a weight-loss vitamin, which I thought should have extra calcium as it appears that low calcium levels can contribute to weight gain, but...it had much less than a standard mv/mm.

Any ideas? I'd also rather not pay $50 for a month's supply.
