suffered through thick and thin to get to this point.
Arizona had one of the lowest average NFL attendance figures for years when the team played at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. Crowds of fewer than 30,000 were not uncommon, even though I realize they were playing in a shithole bench-style college stadium.  New Orleans fans have traditionally supported the Saints, New York has traditionally supported the Jets, etc. Only recently has Phoenix supported the Cardinals because everyone wants to see the new stadium. :thumbdown: Not taking anything away from the Cards who got in fair and square (even though they had an easy schedule like Miami). |
