Edited on Thu Nov-23-06 04:33 PM by philb
4519 Polling Place Problem Los Angeles California Voter reported that after marking her ballot and removing it from the voting machine, she noticed that the first line, which should have recorded her vote for governor, was blank. She tried to mark her vote several times without success. She eventually put her ballot through the computer which said she voted successfully. She reported the problem to poll workers. She also waited and spoke with another voter after he used the same voting machine and asked him to check his ballot to see if the machine recorded a vote for governor. He looked at his ballot and experienced the same problem. Other machines in the same polling place did not have this problem. Voter was concerned that other voters may have experienced the same problem. Voter was also concerned that her vote was not recorded correctly

4489 Polling Place Problem San Diego California Tierra Santa Baptist Church Diebold machine -- voter voted for a candidate and went back to review and found that the machine voted for a different candidate than she chose. Voter is sure that she checked the proper candidate. Voter alerted the polling place worker, who helped her correct the problem. Voter later contacted the county registrar of voters, who told her that they're refering problems to a Diebold official, who happened to be standing next to the county registrar.

4467 Polling Place Problem San Diego California Allen Residence when pressing the candidate selected, the machine would misregister the vote for the candidate immediately above the selected candidate

2958 Polling Place Problem San Joaquin California Voter reported the following: - She voted NO on proposition 84, then heard a noise, looked back at proposition 84, and saw her vote was now recorded as a YES. - This also happened when she tried to vote NO on proposition 86. She voted NO, and then saw the vote change to YES. - She reported that she made 4 attempts to make the NO votes register and is not sure if these NO votes were recorded properly.
