The yard sign attitude you and so many Dems express is very 2 dimensional thinking and a mistake, imho. If a county party is geared up and develops plans to maximize the use of "chum," it can be very productive in recruiting volunteers and building a local grassroots organization that can actually support candidates at all levels physically and financially.
