"On Saturday, October 27th, people from all walks of life will gather in Boston for a massive New England regional demonstration, part of a nationally coordinated day of protest against the war in Iraq called by United for Peace and Justice. Regional demonstrations will be held in 10 cities around the country. The New England event will start with a rally at the Boston Common bandstand starting at Noon, followed by a march to Copley Square from 2:00 to 3:00 PM."

Feels like a no-brainer to me. :)

I have a decent idea that'll need some help from the weather. Let's meet at Bukowski Tavern arond 1pm. There's a parking garage literally attached to the bar, so anyone driving in can park easily without having to slog through downtown traffic, and it's also a block away from a Pike exit. Plus, there's an Orange Line station not far away (Mass. Ave station), and a Green line staion within sight (Heinz Convention station) for anyone who'll be taking the train. I can give directions to anyone who needs them.

We can walk down Boylston to the rally site (maybe 20 minutes), walk back afterwards, and hang out at Buk's for a while. It's has beer and wine only, is cash only, and has pretty decent food with some vegetarian options.

Thoughts?
