I think all of us patriotic Americans should start making voluntary GEOS satellites in our basements from cardboard, tinfoil, and super glue. Do we have a Windows Mobile developer who can write us an athmospheric modeling program for our PDAs? I'll get on it just after I finish my voluntary soda can seismograph and citizen's scrap plastic spectrograph to help monitor volcanic gas emissions.

(just in case someone is not paying attention, this post is full of :sarcasm: Though, unlike the other projects I propose out of my voluntary heart, you can make a simple seismograph at home using a can.)
