Jindal is not unlike the other Republicans because of the fact that he is knowledgeable.

He can probably think on his feet unlike a Sarah Palin who is just a talker who produces a word salad every time she speaks in public. But the good news is that he's a boring speaker. The bad news is that he's cunning enough to truly hide and mainstream his issues so much so that the public finds him acceptable (in a "Huckabee" sort of way).

The Dems have to fight back early to nip him in the bud before he can be a rising star. And since he has had corruption issues in Louisiana, it's time to publicize them now and make them known to the public. Those are the things that will get people thinking twice about him.

(I mean, people had mentioned Sarah Palin's witch doctor. That didn't diminish her popularity in some circles. In fact, most of the MSM dismissed it. The same could happen for Jindal's exorcism story.).

Secondly, we've got to truly work on turning Louisiana blue by fighting gentrification and trying to appeal to the Dems that are there. This has to be done from the local positions all the way to the top. The same could be said for all fifty states because the GOP starts by having their people occupy local seats and have them work all the way up the food chain to the point of real power.
