whose subject line was pretty harsh-- not to you. I think it is reasonable to point out (as you have) that just because a poll doesn't go our way does not mean the pollsters are biased, inaccurate, and should be ignored. On the otherhand, I just want to point out that in the absence of multiple consistent polls, this is but an outlier and may ultimately be meaningless. Nonetheless, outlier polls should be examined for why they might be (or may not be) simply chance blips on the screen-- but that they don't have to represent "nefarious" intent.
