McClatchy reporter guy on MSNBC: "Americans want divided elections."

This guy was pretty bouncy and would have wagged his tail, if he had one (perhaps he does and it was just off-camera).

To which Alex Witt chirpily replied, "Well, we do anyway!"


Baby, we aren't having an election here. It's the American Idol Superbowl Death Match!!! Make certain you are glued to your teevee because you may miss a blow or an ad!!! While the media laughs its way to the bank vault, our nation is dying.

Let's get out there and prove them wrong. We have some weeks to do it in. Put your nose to the grindstone, your shoulder to the wheel, the pedal to the metal, or whatever metaphor for hard work that works for you and let's get out there and get our guy elected! Can we say "landslide"?
