You can't expect anything positive to happen when you act like a jerk, insult and condescend all in one sentence and then in the next one have the temerity to ask for an apology. You could have made a nice post explaining your name and the history of it, instead, you made one that virtually guarantees people will choose to fight with you rather than look it up. And I've taken several feminist classes, studied women's history both in school and on my own, and I don't even know what it is off the top of my head, that doesn't make me historically challenged because I don't know something that is relatively obscure. Now it probably is a shame that it's obscure, but that's the point, I guess. Hey I'm a Blackfeet Indian, why don't I just whip out some obscure fact that I feel emotionally connected to like the massacre that killed 200 unarmed Blackfeet women and children, and then when you don't know wtf I'm talking about I'll say that you're a historically ignorant Hillary supporter and then ask for an apology. Either way it's just as unfair as your OP.
