With the recent GE match up polls showing a stronger Clinton result when paired against McCain and a declining Obama, how can SD's ignore that? For all the genuine euphoria over Obama and his message of hope and change, which clearly resonates to many after the horror show of the last 8 years, if the GE match ups show otherwise what to do? Principle, fear of backlash, honoring previous results, the will of the people months ago? All these will be hand wringing talk for months in 2009 if the GE polls are accurate and the SD's focus on the battle and ignore the real war.
