9. If our troops are there at the
invitation of the royal family, let Osama take it up with them. I don't care how pissed off he and his buddies are. I have no reason to believe they (Saudis) weren't pissed about us in their country - all I'm saying is that we didn't invade Saudi Arabia and were not occupying them. Let them take it up with the royal family.

Take up the issue with sanctions against Iraq with the UN. Look, I'm not blind to the faults of this country and I'm fighting for better leadership any way I can. But I'll be damned before I'll beat my breast about how we're the cause of all the world's evils. We're often the first country to get aid to victims of natural disasters. We have hundreds/thousands coming into this country legally and illegally every day looking for the same better life that my grandparents were looking for.

Probably the least offensive thing that Rev Wright had to say was regarding the black experience in America. He was right about that and if had just stuck with that message, I probably wouldn't think anything bad about him. But when he blames us and our policies for 9/11, I condemn him the same way I condemn Falwell/Robertson for the same thing. I also think his blaming Israel for the problems in the mid-East is shortsighted and bigoted. I'm glad Sen Obama condemned that.
