The Republicans would rather run against Hillary than Obama. However, some don't really care for McCain either and will crossover to vote for Obama. But Obama wins the millions of new voters. Obama wins the Independents. Hillary wins the Old Guard mostly. Most polls show that Obama will beat McCain and Hillary will lose to McCain. Personally, I think she would squeak by with a victory. But I think Obama has the chance to give the Party a landslide. Of course, these are all predictions and polls and are not written in stone. However, I think it is hard to argue that Hillary would not bring the apathetic and disillusioned Republicans together more than any other candidate?
