72. I disagree about zero chance.
Besides the fact that the state demographics continue to change (more minorities, more transplants from elsewhere in the country, mainly from the Northeast and MidWest), there was zero campaigning here and there was some local resentment towards Edwards for running for president.

Also, Obama is much more charismatic than Kerry was. If voter enthusiasm can be maintained in November and the republicans remain depressed, it'll be a lot closer. You can't simply judge the chances in NC this time solely by previous elections.
